Trusting God When You Don't Understand Why Pt 3

A few months ago I posted a blog about Trusting God When You Don't Understand Why. In that blog post I referenced a chapter in Isaiah that compared the Spirit of God to a river. As the river gets deeper, we can't walk in it or see thru to the bottom--we just have to let go, float, and trust God to carry us. That's basically what faith is---trusting God, when you can't see His hand when you look at your life or the lives of others. I know when tragedies like the earthquakes in Haiti occur, it can be a difficult challenge to keep the faith. I ran across these videos on YouTube today and just thought I'd share them with ya'll. We are blessed even when we don't SEE the blessing in our lives.

John 20:26-29 (NLT)
Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” he said.
27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”
28 “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.
29 Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
